For the Bread

  • 2 tbsp Butter spread it generously on the outside of the bread

How to Make

  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, and garlic powder together until smooth.
  • Assemble the Sandwich: Take two slices of your chosen bread and lay them flat. On one slice, sprinkle cheddar cheese, followed by the jalapeño filling. Add bacon slices, finishing with another layer of cheese and the remaining slice of bread.
  • Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter the outside of the sandwich. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Carefully remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve while warm.

Notes

Pair with a side of tangy tomato soup for a delightful dip. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days wrapped in foil in the fridge.
