Cooking Steps
Brown the meats in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then transfer to the slow cooker after draining excess fat.
Slice the carrots into rounds and cut them into pumpkin shapes, then add them to the slow cooker.
Fold in potatoes, celery, leeks, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour in soups, water, and beef broth, stirring to mix.
Set slow cooker to HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
Slice mushrooms and add fun shapes 10 minutes before cooking time ends, to keep them tender.
Stir the stew before serving hot with fresh herbs if desired.
