For the Pork

  • 1 lb Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional

For Serving

  • 2 cups White Rice cooked
  • 2 stalks Green Onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil, allowing it to heat up and shimmer before adding the pork.
  • Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized cubes for even cooking.
  • Cook the cubed pork in a single layer for about 4-5 minutes until golden. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Add sesame oil to the skillet, followed by the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let it simmer until the honey dissolves.
  • Return the pork to the skillet, stirring well to coat in the sauce. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Prepare the white rice as per your preference and fluff before serving.
  • Spoon the honey garlic pork mixture over the rice, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra zesty kick, consider adding a squeeze of lime before serving.
