For the Batter

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda

  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar can reduce for less sweetness
  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk any type including non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract can use flavored extracts
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter can substitute with oil
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar for coating

For Coating

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar the finishing touch

Instructions

How to Make Delicious Easy Homemade Powdered Sugar Donuts

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground nutmeg. Whisk until well mixed and set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat together granulated sugar, large eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until creamy.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.
  • Lightly spray your donut pans with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Fill a gallon-size zip-top bag with the batter. Snip one corner and pipe the batter into the donut pans, filling them halfway.
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Transfer warm donuts to a bag containing powdered sugar and shake until fully coated.
