Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and position the rack in the middle.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Whisk together the egg and water in a small bowl to create the egg wash.
Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and cut it into 24 narrow triangles.
Position a sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll it tightly toward the point.
Brush the tops with your egg wash and sprinkle with flaky salt or seasoning if desired.
Bake for 13-15 minutes until they are golden brown and puffed.
