Ingredients

For the Batter

  • 1 large Egg for egg wash
  • 2 tablespoons Water mixed with egg for wash
  • 12-14 ounces Cocktail-sized Smoked Sausages
  • 8 ounces Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and position the rack in the middle.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Whisk together the egg and water in a small bowl to create the egg wash.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and cut it into 24 narrow triangles.
  • Position a sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll it tightly toward the point.
  • Brush the tops with your egg wash and sprinkle with flaky salt or seasoning if desired.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until they are golden brown and puffed.
