  • 2 tbsp Milk Any milk alternative works well.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Adjust to your spice preference.
  • 1 cup Diced Red Bell Pepper Other veggies like spinach or mushrooms can be used.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Using pepper jack or feta is a tasty twist.

For the Finish

  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter Optional, but enhances flavor and appearance.

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto the parchment paper, pressing it into a rectangle.
  • Distribute the cooked ground breakfast sausage along the center of the dough.
  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, black pepper, and diced red bell pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until fluffy.
  • Spoon the scrambled eggs over the sausage layer and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top. Cut the edges into strips for braiding.
  • Fold the dough strips over the filling alternately to create a braid.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Brush with melted butter before serving.
