Ingredients

For the Pasta

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta Cook al dente

For the Beef

  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat

For the Sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic Fresh, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter For sautéing
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce For depth of flavor

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp black pepper To taste
  • 1 tsp salt To taste

For Garnish

  • 2 tbsp parsley Chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, but do not brown.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, and drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine.
  • Lower the heat and gradually mix in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it forms a smooth sauce.
  • If the sauce is too thick, stir in a splash of pasta water or broth until you reach desired consistency.
  • Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, ensuring each piece is coated in the sauce. Heat through.
  • Serve in bowls, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Optional crushed red pepper flakes can be added for a spicy kick.
