How to Make Ultimate Cheesy Savory Ground Beef Melt

  • In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart while cooking until browned, then mix in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Sprinkle in salt and pepper, then stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Allow the mixture to simmer until it thickens, making sure to stir occasionally.
  • Generously butter one side of each slice of bread to ensure a beautifully golden crust upon grilling.
  • On a skillet, lay down two slices of bread (butter side down). Layer each with cheddar cheese, spoon in the beef mixture, and top with mozzarella cheese. Place the remaining slices of bread on top (butter side up).
  • Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melty and gooey.
