Instructions

How to Make Irresistible Strawberry Brownies

  • Make Strawberry Jam: Cook strawberries with sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a saucepan for 3-4 minutes, then simmer for 12-15 minutes until thick. Blend and cool.
  • Prepare Baking: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a 9" square pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt Chocolate and Butter: Combine butter and white chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 90 seconds until smooth.
  • Mix Egg Mixture: Beat egg and yolk with granulated sugar and optional freeze-dried strawberry powder until fluffy. Fold in vanilla extract and cooled strawberry puree, followed by melted chocolate.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: Sift in flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir gently until just combined. Optionally add pink gel food coloring.
  • Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are brown and a toothpick comes clean.
  • Prepare Ganache: Combine white chocolate melts and heavy cream in a bowl. Microwave until smooth.
  • Assemble: Spread ganache over cooled brownies and garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
