Instructions

How to Make Savory Easy Breakfast Casserole

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, kosher salt, and ground black pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease and stir into the egg mixture.
  • Sauté the diced green and red bell peppers along with the green onions for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add to the egg mixture.
  • Pour the combined mixture into the greased baking pan. Bake for 35-50 minutes until the edges are set.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm.

Notes
