Instructions

How to Make Irresistible Coconut French Toast

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, coconut milk, granulated sugar, coconut extract, and pure vanilla extract until well combined and frothy.
  • On a large plate, spread the sweetened, shredded coconut evenly.
  • Heat your griddle to medium (350°F / 175°C). Ensure it's at the right temperature.
  • Take slices of your French bread and dip them into the egg mixture, soaking for about 15 seconds on each side.
  • Transfer the soaked bread slices to the plate with the shredded coconut. Press lightly on both sides.
  • Grease the griddle with butter or coconut oil, and cook the bread until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
