Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with butter.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces and add to the custard mixture. Toss to soak the croissant pieces.
Pour the croissant and custard mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
