  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened; Greek yogurt can lighten things up!
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Softened; coconut oil works as a dairy-free substitute.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Sweetens the cream mixture smoothly without any grittiness.
  • 16 oz Whipped Topping Consider using homemade whipped cream for a flavor boost.

For the Pudding Layer

  • 2 boxes Instant Pudding 3.4 oz each, white chocolate or vanilla; swap in chocolate pudding for extra chocolatey delight.

Instructions

How to Make Dirt Cake

  • Crush Oreos. Begin by placing Oreos in a resealable bag or using a food processor to achieve fine crumbs.
  • Prepare the Crust. Press two-thirds of the crushed Oreos into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Make the Cream Mixture. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar and whipped topping.
  • Prepare the Pudding Mixture. Whisk pudding mix, milk, and vanilla until thickened slightly.
  • Combine Mixtures. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Assemble. Pour the combined mixture over the crust and sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos on top.
  • Chill. Place the Dirt Cake in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours or overnight.
  • Serve. Slice into squares and top with gummy worms for a fun touch!
