  • 6 large Eggs Fresh, room temperature for easier peeling.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Try spicy brown mustard for an extra zing.
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Opt for homemade for a richer flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Chives Finely chopped, optional but recommended.

For the Garnish

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Classic sprinkle on top for color and spice.

Basic Instructions

  • Fill a pot with water and gently place the eggs inside. Bring to a rolling boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  • Move the eggs to an ice water bath for 5-10 minutes to cool down quickly.
  • Carefully cut each egg in half lengthwise, then scoop out the yolks into a bowl using a spoon.
  • Using a fork, mash the yolks until crumbly. Blend in Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and chives until creamy.
  • Generously spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into each egg white half.
  • Dust the filled eggs with paprika and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Optional: Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
