Instructions
How to Make Deliciously Crispy Smashed Cauliflower
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Toss the washed cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
Spread the coated florets on a rimmed baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes.
Flip each floret to promote even browning and roast for another 20 minutes.
Increase the oven temperature to 475°F (245°C) and gently flatten each floret.
Return the smashed florets to the oven and roast for 10 minutes, flip again and roast for another 10 minutes.
Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
Notes
Store cooled cauliflower in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 375°F for optimal texture.
