Instructions

How to Make Deliciously Crispy Smashed Cauliflower

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Toss the washed cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  • Spread the coated florets on a rimmed baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes.
  • Flip each floret to promote even browning and roast for another 20 minutes.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 475°F (245°C) and gently flatten each floret.
  • Return the smashed florets to the oven and roast for 10 minutes, flip again and roast for another 10 minutes.
  • Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
