Ingredients

For the Bowl

  • 1 pound Grilled Sirloin Can substitute with chicken, tofu, or chickpeas.
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Cucumbers
  • 1 small Red Onion
  • 1/2 cup Olives
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese Omit for dairy-free option.

For the Tzatziki

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Dairy-free yogurt can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber Grated.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Or vinegar.
  • 1 clove Fresh Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Dill Fresh preferred.

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil Avocado oil is a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano Fresh can be used at triple the amount.
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Thyme Fresh can be used at triple the amount.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Honey Optional; maple syrup is a vegan alternative.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Coat the sirloin with this mixture and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  • Prepare the Tzatziki: In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and chill.
  • Sear the Steak: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until preferred doneness. Let it rest before slicing.
  • Assemble the Bowls: Start with a base of cooked grains like rice or quinoa. Layer on sliced steak, fresh vegetables, sprinkle with feta cheese, and top with tzatziki. Drizzle with vinaigrette if desired.
