How to Make Delicious Easy Jam Donut Focaccia
In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar until dissolved. Sprinkle the active dry yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
In a stand mixer, combine the bread flour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Gradually add the activated yeast mixture and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Lightly coat a large bowl with olive oil. Place the dough inside, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise for about 1 hour.
Transfer the risen dough to a greased 9x13 inch pan, folding and kneading slightly to shape.
Cover the dough again and let it rise for another hour while preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Poke holes in the surface of the dough and generously spoon raspberry jam into each hole. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
Allow to cool for a few minutes. Mix powdered sugar with milk for icing and drizzle it over the focaccia.
