Coffee Preparation
Brew the espresso: Start by brewing a strong shot (or two!) of espresso using your favorite method. Pour it into a large mug, and watch that rich, dark color fill your cup.
Steam the half-and-half: In a small saucepan, heat the half-and-half over low heat until it's warm and slightly foamy, bringing out its creamy goodness.
Froth the mixture: Use a handheld milk frother or pour the steamed half-and-half into a jar, seal it, and shake vigorously until frothy.
Combine flavors: Stir in the vanilla syrup and caramel sauce into the frothed half-and-half until well blended.
Pour over the espresso: Carefully pour the frothed half-and-half mixture over the brewed espresso, stirring gently to blend.
