How to Make Perfect Strawberry Kiss Cookies

  • In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and the egg. Mix until well-combined and then stir in the softened cream cheese until a dough forms.
  • Pop the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of chilled dough and roll them in pink sanding sugar until fully coated.
  • Arrange the dough balls on your prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • After removing the cookies from the oven, let them sit for about 2 minutes to firm up, then gently press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
